Meteorological vapors: 1.02, 1.03, 1.05, 2.11, 6.06, 11.3, 11.4, 14.6, 23.01, 25.10, breath: 2.01, 11.2, 17.2, 22.1, 29.01 energies: 4.02, 6.03, 6.05, 7.03, 7.05, 12.11, 15.2, 18.2, 19.2, 19.08, 19.9, 19.11, 21.09, 22.04, 23.06, 23.19, 25.10, 30.07 individual character: 4.01 (No, this should be general energies, not individual character.) 陰陽者,氣之大者也 (25.10); qi are the motives that move things, from weather to people, so we want a work that crosses all those regions. "Energy" is correct, but that's not the way we use the word. Maybe "impulses," "forces," "vital forces," "energy," "motives," "what moves people."
I like "energies" or "what moves people," since these suggest some larger force at work in us. However they disrupt the logic of the sentences with a distracting term. For the time being, I translate it as "feelings," which I think conveys the point without too much distraction. I tried "spark" in 18.2. Or maybe "breath." It is enigmatic and makes you think, and also recalls the piping of heaven.
