顏成子游 Yánchéng Zǐyóu appears to be based on a student of Confucius, 言偃 Yányǎn, whose courtesy name was also 子游 Yánchéng Zǐyóu. He is described in Analects 17.4 as teaching people by means of music. Possibly as with Yao in 1:05, this anecdote may be giving us the back-story, the secret to how he learned to do it.
